2024 Henry For Music Summer Camp Meet-ups ft. Independent Playground Studios 

Theme: "Exploring Joy Through Music"  

Outcome: Attendees will emerge with an understanding of different and healthy aspects of music-related jobs.  

Meals: Parents are encouraged to send snacks for their child to enjoy during the long day camp.

Henry For Music is seeking 15-20 diverse motivated students for our summer camp (Ages: K-12; Experience required: None) to join Henry For Music for its creative 2024 Summer Camp Music Enrichment Intensive tailored for K-12 students. Students will dive into a life of music with an instrument in their hands but most of all, who they are. For two weeks from May 28-June 8, Henry for Music will inspire and empower young minds during 1 to 3hr meet-ups to blaze their own exceptional musical path. Henry For Music will quench students' thirst for musical exploration, of all experience levels, by supplying beginner instruments and students can bring their own for immersion into music enrichment activities. 

For the second year in a row, Henry For Music will collaborate with Independent Playground Studios to offer music production exploration. Each session will feature games and activities focused on professional development exploration including concert etiquette, media training, networking, skills advantages, and resume building for film, painting, theater, composing, physical fitness, sports, songwriting, singing, and dancing. Adults and high school students adept in music can sign up as Camp Facilitators, Teaching Artists and Music Mentors. 

A background check is required (ages 18+) and can be obtained through the Henry County website or proof provided by your employer sent to info@henryformusic.org. The workshops sessions are conveniently designed to enhance kids' enjoyment of music to the extent of career foundational skills.
