Removing Barriers. Amplifying Potential.
Through the donation, refurbishment, and equitable distribution of musical instruments, Henry For Music’s Instrument Assistance Program ensures that students in Henry County have access to the tools they need to participate in music programs—at no cost to their families.
We partner directly with schools, teachers, and community members to identify students whose music education is at risk due to financial hardship or lack of access to instruments.
These instruments are gifts of purpose, prioritized for students with the fewest material resources, and meant to stay in use throughout their musical journey. When a student outgrows an instrument, we help transition it to the next child—keeping the music moving and the legacy alive.

To date, Henry For Music has served over 3,000 youth and gifted more than 500 instruments—not as handouts, but as steps toward lasting equity in the arts.
How to Apply
We currently offer two ways to submit an Instrument Assistance Request:

Complete the online version below. Submissions go straight to our team at info@henryformusic.org for review.
Please note: While we cannot guarantee instrument availability at all times, we review all requests and follow up based on current inventory and student need.
Our mission is to gift students with music.
When you donate your old or gently used instrument to Henry For Music, we refurbish it at no cost to you or the student recipient. Please leave your contact information in the case for use to send you a tax-deductible receipt. Through this special service project you can also help by collecting from your friends and neighbors.
